Follow-up Friday: Meet Social Networking Experts

Our clip of the week about Adobe Acrobat got our fewest number of hits (note to ClipTraining… no more Acrobat clips) so we found ourselves looking at a Follow-up Friday with equally low levels of visitors unless we followed-up with something more exciting.  So, what could be more exciting that being introduced to two new friends in the social networking space.  Allow us to introduce you to Angela Giles and Mark Shaw.

Angela Giles is the author of the book Facebook Marketing in 60 Minutes a Day which isn’t a huge 1200 page monster of an epic, but rather a 60 page, easy to follow collection of simple secrets (with promises of BIG results).  What’s great about the book is that it makes it so that anyone can understand the value of Facebook for more than simply keeping up with friends, but to improve your business, raise product awareness and even drive sales through your Facebook relationships.  Well, ClipTraining has been looking to improve in this regard and we are trying to reach 1000 friends (we are at 76… but we are growing!!!) and so we are loving Angela’s book and think you will too.

Mark Shaw is an award winning ex sales guy that advises and trains businesses, and individuals on how to utilize Twitter to gain more business and to be effective with their time. Mark has nearly 14,000followers, which is unbelievable.  (ClipTraining has 46… we’re gaining on you Mark!!!)  Mark has a new book out called Twitter Your Business.  It is a Beginners Guide to using Twitter to successfully promote you and your business. Check it out!!!

So, whether you are in need of Facebook advice or Twitter insight for your business… we hope we helped point you in the right direction.
