The Admin Corner: Migrating to Office 365
With the much anticipated release of Office 365 this week there are many who are signing up (especially smaller businesses looking to offload the on-premises infrastructure) and now wondering how they migrate their content. With Exchange that isn’t as big of an issue because Microsoft has put a lot of effort into it already and there are options. With SharePoint the options narrow down to third party solutions. ClipTraining’s J. Peter Bruzzese has written more on this subject in his Enterprise Windows column on InfoWorld entitled: Now that Office 365 is live, here is how to migrate to it.
In the column J.P.B. mentions a company called Metalogix to help you migrate your SharePoint environment. They announced yesterday that they offer Office 365 support through their Migration Manager for SharePoint product. We think their solution is an absolute must for anyone looking to migrate to the cloud.
