The Many Ways to Learn Windows 8
This week Microsoft announced it had already sold 40 million licenses (in just 1 month since Windows 8 went live!!!)
Maybe you are one of the 40 million who now have Windows 8. Maybe, with the holidays just ahead, you’re about to become a member of the next 40 million using Windows 8. It’s a whole new user interface (UI) and has lots of great new features… but how can you get up to speed quick with this new OS? ClipTraining is here to help.
ClipTraining offers a free, two-page ClipStart Guide for Windows 8. To download your free copy just go to the ClipTraining library, click the ClipStart Guides channel and choose the Windows 8 Essentials guide (you’ll have to sign up for a free demo account).
In addition, ClipTraining has not one, but two training series already put together on Windows 8. Our introduction series is called Windows 8 Essentials and our follow-up series is Windows 8 for Power Users. And soon enough we’ll be offering Windows 8 for Admins.
ClipTraining has also helped with the creation of other tools you might appreciate. For example, ClipTraining’s J. Peter Bruzzese, Nick Saccamanno and Wayne Dipchan have teamed up to create the book “Using Windows 8” published by Que Publishing.
In addition, Pearson Education through Que has asked ClipTraining to help with the creation of their Windows 8 LiveLessons DVD product. This isn’t the first time ClipTraining has worked together with Pearson/Que and it won’t be the last. In fact, stay tuned for our “What’s New in Office 2013” series coming soon with a LiveLessons DVD as well.
And finally, ClipTraining has been offering webinars and even in-store demonstrations to help you learn more about Windows 8. Check out J. Peter Bruzzese presenting at the Orlando Microsoft Store.
